Our 5-step process
1. First appointment
We talk about how you'll wear the garment (a wedding, a christening, everyday life) and the budget you have in mind. From there we work out what's possible and with what margin.
2. Measurements
We take measurements at the workshop in Sant Feliu de Codines with the design and the garment's required ease in mind.
3. Design and pattern-making
We develop the pattern for the agreed design. A sketch, reference photograph or garment you like can help us define the silhouette and details.
4. Handcrafted sewing
We choose seams and finishes according to the fabric and construction. We combine machinery and handwork, and also check the inside, hems and finishing details. You can read about the stages in what the process of making a made-to-measure dress looks like.
5. Fittings and adjustments
During fittings, we check how the garment fits when you wear it and move. We adjust the length, shape and agreed details before delivery.

Made-to-measure dresses
For a dress, we study the silhouette, length, neckline and fabric according to how you want to wear it. At fittings, we check the drape and movement: changing one proportion may require an adjustment elsewhere in the design.
Personalised guidance
At the first appointment we guide you on which fabric, cut or colour works best for how you'll wear the garment, and what's reasonable within your budget. If something you're proposing won't work well, we'll tell you right there.
Fabrics
We can suggest a fabric or you can bring your own: we check it together before cutting, to confirm it suits the design. We work with natural fabrics, occasion fabrics, structured materials and lightweight options, depending on what each garment needs, always with the same approach we explain in why I choose natural fabrics for made-to-measure work.

How much does a made-to-measure garment cost?
It depends on the type of garment, fabric and complexity. After the first appointment, we give you a fixed quote for the agreed design, materials and fittings. If you request changes to the order, we discuss them with you.
How long does it take?
As a guide, a simple dress usually needs 3-4 weeks, while an elaborate design may take several months. We confirm the schedule according to the design, materials, fittings and workshop availability.
Can I bring my own fabric?
Yes. We assess it together before starting, to confirm it's suitable.
How many fittings are there?
Usually between 2 and 3, depending on how complex the garment is.
