Trouser alterations
On trousers, the waist size and length do not always fit at the same time. We adjust the hem to the shoes you plan to wear and assess the waist fit. For jeans, we check whether the original hem can be retained before changing the length.
Dress alterations
A party or wedding dress lives or dies by the centimetre: a badly fitted neckline or a hem that drags on the floor changes the whole garment. Since we design and make our own dress line, we know how a well-built garment should fall on the body, and we apply that same eye when adjusting the waist, bust or length of your dress. Skirt alterations
When altering a pleated skirt, we consider how to keep the pleats aligned. To shorten it or adjust the waist, we study the fabric and construction before deciding where to work and which finish to use.
Shirt and blouse alterations
On a dress shirt, millimetres at the collar and cuff make a difference. We adjust shoulders and sleeves when a garment is too loose, take in the body without losing ease of movement, and make sure collars and cuffs keep their shape after the alteration.
Jacket and coat alterations
We assess which parts of a jacket can be altered: the shoulders, lining and inner structure may affect what is possible. We handle the overall fit, adjust sleeves and check linings, paying special attention to winter coats, which are heavier and have an inner structure that takes more work per garment — as we detail in jacket and blazer alterations.
Zips and loose seams
To replace a zip or repair an undone seam, we examine the fabric, the damaged area and access to the stitching. This lets us assess the repair and choose a suitable fastening or finish for the garment. Not every alteration fits neatly into a category. Missing buttons, loose linings, improvised hems, children’s clothes that have become too small: if it can be solved with a needle and thread, we'll take a look.

The simplest adjustments start from €8. The final price depends on the type of garment, how complex the change is, and the fabric. If you bring several garments at once (several pairs of trousers, for example), we offer a discount for quantity.
Do you work with any fabric?
We work with a variety of fabrics, including some with beading. Whether an alteration is possible depends on their condition, the garment's construction and the seam allowances; we confirm this when examining it.
How long does a simple alteration take?
As a guide, the usual turnaround is one week. We confirm it when examining the garment, depending on the alteration and workshop availability.
Do you take on urgent alterations?
We can assess an urgent alteration depending on the work and the workshop's availability. Ask before bringing it in: we will confirm whether your date is feasible and whether an additional charge applies.
